S/A 242 Drugs & Society

Course Description

This course examines the social causes and consequences of drug use, and theoretical frameworks used to explain drugs in society. It also explores the social, cultural, political, and economic processes that shape US drug policy and our understandings of it. This course counts for the Nursing major and the Public Health minor. HBSI, Spring semester.
