Course Description
This course reflects the growing recognition that employees are an organization's most important resource and, as a consequence, management of those resources is an increasingly critical function. Specific responsibilities in that regard include: recruitment and selection, testing and assessment, training and development, affirmative action, compensation and benefits, discipline and discharge. In addition, the course explores the ever-changing legal and regulatory elements that influence human resource activities and decisions. Prerequisites: B/E-107 or B/E-108, B/E-110, B/E-150, B/E-160, and B/E-261. WRITD, Fall semester.
