GRE101

This course introduces students to ancient Greek language and culture. Students master Greek vocabulary, grammar, and syntax by reading passages closely adapted from famous Greek authors such as Aristophanes, Herodotus, Thucydides, and Plato. Students will also learn about Greek cities and the history, geography, and archaeology of Greece and the ancient Mediterranean. Spring semester.
