Course Description

Liars and Trolls and Bots: Mass Media and Misinformation in Eastern Europe and Eurasia. This course allows students to begin to interact with, interpret, and analyze sources of mass information in Eastern Europe and Eurasia. Special emphasis will be placed on recognizing misinformation within state-sponsored vs. independent media channels. GLAFC, Spring semester, odd years.
