CHE110

This course will cover the fundamental concepts of chemistry, including the atom; periodicity; stoichiometry; properties of gasses, liquids, and solutions; acids and bases; chemical energetics; and bonding. Prerequisite: High school chemistry. Completion of the placement exam required for permission to enroll. Concurrent enrollment with CHE-111 required (lecture-only enrollment requires instructor permission). Exceptionally well-prepared students may bypass CHE-110 by examination. NTSCI, Fall semester.
