This course is designed to provide an introduction to medical terminology. The course covers general anatomy, word roots, prefixes, suffixes, special endings, symbols, plural forms, medical terms and common medical conditions related to all human body systems. Emphasis is placed on spelling, definition, usage, and pronunciation. Fall and Spring semesters.
