PSY 234 Human Development

Course Description

This course is focused on the various changes that take place in humans from conception to death (e.g., physical-motor, language, cognitive, social) and draws upon theory and content from Introductory Psychology (PSY-110). Aspects of development that are common to persons at all ages across the human lifespan as well as individual differences in development will be studied. Descriptions of human development, developmental theory, research, and the relation between research and theory are emphasized equally in this course and will be covered through the text, activities, discussions, and writing. Prerequisite: PSY-100. Offered annually.
