HES 230 Human Anatomy & Physiology I

Course Description

An in-depth study of the structure and function of the human body. Body systems include: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous. This course is suitable for students majoring in exercise physiology and nursing, as well as students preparing for graduate school in the health sciences, including pre-athletic training, pre-medicine, pre-physical therapy, pre-occupational therapy, pre-physician assistant, and other health-related fields. Prior completion of Biology 110/111 is recommended. Students outside of these majors who would like to learn more about the human body and earn NATSCI general education credit are encouraged to take HES 130/131: Your Body: Awareness and Advocacy. Co-requisite: HES 231 Lab. NTSCI, Fall semester.
