PSY 240 Sensation & Perception
Course Description
This Basic Processes course addresses how humans sense the world and perceive, or interpret, those sensations by understanding how sensory systems function-the energy to which they are sensitive, transduction at the sensory organ, and the brain's interpretation of the information carried in the signal after transduction. This course examines research and methodology addressing a variety of sensory systems, including vision, audition, olfaction, taste, and touch. Prerequisite: PSY-100. WRITL, Offered occasionally.
