ART 240 Darkroom Photography

Course Description

This course is an introduction to the basic concepts of camera vision within a contemporary art context using black and white photographic materials. Students will learn to operate all the major controls of the camera, expose negatives accurately, and produce prints with good tonality. Through lectures, demonstrations, group critique, and individual discussion, students will be encouraged to pursue their own ideas in response to the assignments. Additional studio course fee for supplies $60.00. ARTSC, Offered occasionally.
