BIO 120 Organismal Biology

Course Description

This course explores major organismal groups including viruses, bacteria, protists, fungi, plants, and animals. Topics include evolutionary relationships among and diversification within these major groups, their structure-function relationships, the physiology of select systems, and the impact organisms have in the environment and our lives. Lab emphasizes the process of scientific investigation in the context of Organismal Biology. Co-requisite BIO-121. NTSCI, Spring semester.
