Dance Minor

Dance provides a window into oneself and one's place in the world. It is integral to our humanity. As a Dance Minor you are literally stepping into the many possibilities for physical, emotional and social growth. Experience embodied knowing through movement explorations and skill development in technique classes. Find individual expresssion, communication and collaborative ease through the choreographic process both as a creator, and dancer. The Dance Minor provides a gateway into a deeper commitment and engagement with the discipline of dance. Discover the challenge, intensity, joy, community and risk taking that is performance. The Dance Minor is a perfect compliment to any and all majors. Complete the minor in 21 credits which includes three courses in dance technique, 1 course in dance composition, 1 course in dance practicum, 1 course in dance theory.
