BIO 396 Directed Research
Course Description
Directed group research on a special topic to be identified by the instructor. Students will work together with the instructor in developing a research proposal, designing an experimental protocol, and collecting and analyzing data to understand current biological issues. Students will be expected to present this research in the form of a manuscript suitable for submission for publication and as a public presentation. Research topics and instructors vary by semester. Prerequisites: BIO-250/251 and/or BIO-260/261. Co-requisite BIO-397. Permission of instructor required. WRITD, Offered occasionally.
