This course provides students with a comprehensive exploration of the critical elements involved in the creation of live theatre across time and geographies. With particular emphasis in the literary and visual elements of theatre, we will consider the impact of social and cultural contexts in the creation and reception of performance across the globe. Course requirements include attendance to virtual and live academic and professional performances produced on and off campus.
