POL 340 Issues for U.S. Foreign Policy
Course Description
What priorities and goals drive United States foreign policy? This course challenges students to think about what the current role of the United States is in our world and what this role ought to be. How have U.S. foreign policy goals evolved historically? What are the major determinants of foreign policy decisions? Current foreign policy issues will be debated, encouraging students to develop their own positions. This course counts toward the Peace, Justice, and Conflict Studies major/minor. Offered occasionally.
