  • PHY210 Physics for Scnts & Engrs II
    AND
    PHY211 PHY for Scnts & Engrs Lab II
  • PHY220 Physics and Mathematics I
  • PHY230 Physics and Mathematics II
  • PHY270 Electronics/Instrument
    AND
    PHY271 Electronics Lab

  • PHY305 Experimental Modern Physics
  • PHY360 Optics
    AND
    PHY361 Optics Lab
Complete at least 1 of the following Courses:
  • PHY350 Electromagnetic Theory
  • PHY370 Adv Math Methods
  • PHY380 Thermal and Statistical Physics
  • PHY390 Intro to Quantum Mechanics
Complete ALL of the following Courses:
  • MCS121 Calculus I
  • MCS122 Calculus II
The Physics major has different minimum grade requirements for Level II and Level III courses:
  • No Level II course graded below a C will count towards the major or as a prerequisite for subsequent courses.

  • No Level III physics courses graded below a C- will count towards the major or as a prerequisite for subsequent courses.
