Complete one additional course starting at or beyond SPA 202.
Courses must be graded C or better to fulfill the requirement for the minor.
All courses for the minor must be taught in Spanish.
Spanish minors are encouraged to study abroad. A total of 3 courses pre-approved with a Spanish advisor can count towards the major from a semester abroad to a Spanish speaking country. 4 courses can count towards the major from a year abroad. 1 or 2 courses can count towards the major from a summer term abroad, depending on contact hours (must be 40 to 45 contact hours) and program length of time (1 course for 4 weeks and 2 courses for 8 weeks of stay). All courses must be pre-approved by a Spanish advisor.
