Requirements

Completion requirement

These should usually be taken during the first and second years. 

Complete ALL of the following Courses:
  • MCS122 Calculus II
  • MCS150 Discrete Mathematics
  • MCS221 Linear Algebra
  • MCS222 Multivariable Calculus

Note that MCS-122 has MCS-121 as a prerequisite.

A transitional course that prepares students for upper-level coursework and mathematical proof-writing.

Complete at least 1 of the following Courses:
  • MCS213 Algebraic Structures
  • MCS220 Intro Analysis

One additional mathematics course at the 300 level. Students should consult with their advisors to discuss which courses best fit their needs. 

Complete at least 1 of the following Courses:

A grade of C- or higher is necessary in all courses used to satisfy the requirements of the minor.
