Requirements

Completion requirement
Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:
Complete at least 1 of the following Courses:
  • GEO110 Our Planet
    AND     GEO111 Our Planet Lab
  • GEO120 Geochem of Environ
    AND     GEO121 Geochem of Environ Lab

Students must complete both the lecture and lab for courses with both (lecture and lab together count as "one" course in terms of fulfilling the requirement).

Complete ALL of the following Courses:
  • GEO262 Evolution of Earth
    AND     GEO263 Evolution of Earth Lab

Students must complete both the lecture and lab for courses with both (lecture and lab together count as "one" course in terms of fulfilling the requirement).

Students must complete either GEO-264/267 or GEO-266/267.

Complete at least 1 of the following Courses:
  • GEO264 Earth Surface Processes
    AND     GEO265 Earth Surface Lab
  • GEO266 Earth Materials
    AND     GEO267 Earth Materials Lab

Students must complete both the lecture and lab for courses with both (lecture and lab together count as "one" course in terms of fulfilling the requirement).

Earn at least 8 credits from the following:

There is no minimum grade requirements for courses within the Geology minor. Students must achieve an institutional grade point average, including major classes, of 2.0 to graduate.
